Mumbai: NCP and Congress on Sunday claim that the “report” circulating on social media has revealed that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) gave the former Minister of Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh Chit clean, many before the case was submitted to Him for corruption and washing money.
A spokesman for two parties cited a 65-page report that was not signed which was said to be component by a CBI officer.
“The demand made has revealed that no violations that can be recognized by Anil Deshmukh.
Given the above, it is recommended that this PE be closed,” said a report that was not undertaken.
However, a senior CBI official denied that Deshmukh had been given a clean chit.
He said Bombay High Court ordered the Investigation Registration of Introduction (PE) in this case based on litigation of public interest.
In PE settlement, competent authority directs regular case registration based on evidence collected during PE and legal opinion.
Therefore, a FIR was registered on March 24.
A copy of the FIR submitted by the CBI against Deshmukh, which was examined by TOI, including PE findings.
It was said that PE “revealed that respected violations were made” against Deshmukh for trying to “get improper profits for improper and dishonest performance from their public assignments.” However, NCP spokesman Nawab Malik said, “According to the report, Dishmukh has been given a clean chit …
CBI must clarify whether the documents circulating are part of the PE report,” Malik said.
Sachin Sawant Congress spokesman demanded the Probe monitored by this case.
“The CBI has become an agency to target opponents of the Narendra Modi-LED government, registered violations, politicians are ordered, but there is absolutely no progress in the investigation,” Sawant said.
