Mumbai: Ed told HC on Tuesday that a request was made before the Nia Court was specialized to record a statement dismissed by Cop Sachin to face him with the statement of Anil Deshmukh Sanjeev Palande’s personal secretary and Dishmukh Pa Kundan Shinde.
The application will be heard by the Nia Court on Thursday.
Ed has recorded Waze’s previous statement too.
Last week, while looking for duo prisoners, Ed had submitted the palanda, in his statement, said Deshmukh had a role in posting the transfer of police officers, especially those in the IPS.
Agency added that the investigation had revealed a meeting was held to discuss police transfers and IPS officers and that the list of candidates was not officially prepared.
Ed investigations found more than RS 50 Crore suspicious transactions around two dozen companies related to Deshmukh.
It examines the records of these companies and tries to track suspicious sources of money.
Ed also accused the Palande coordinating with Waze, DCP Raju Bhujbal and ACP Sanjay Patil to raise money from the owner of the ‘Orchestra Bar’ in Mumbai and handed it to Shinde.
Furthermore alleged that Waze said he had collected Rs 4.7 Crore between December 2020 and February 2021 (when the government loosened locking conditions that allowed the bar to operate) and surrender money to Shinde.
“It is also clear that Shinde plays a role in raising cash from Waze on behalf of Anil Deshmukh, then looks forward to Maharashtra’s rule, and helps him in money laundering,” said the wandering applicant.
Waze’s statement was confirmed by two police officers whose statements were recorded, said the investigation body.
Ed surrendered that the truth of Waze’s statement and the other must be set.
Waze is currently submitted in Taloja Prison because of its alleged involvement in the planting of explosives in Scorpio near the residence of Industrialis Mukesh Ambani at Carmichael Road and the next murder of the owner of Scorpio Mansukh Hiran.
ED submission is part of the request submitted during the hearing of Palande and Shinde brokers.
The court sent a duo for justy justice until July 20.
They were arrested on June 25.
