PRAYAGRAJ: At a time of Covid-19 pandemic when a large number of people have lost their jobs, students of United Group of Institutions (UGI), Prayagraj are finding their ways.
They are not only bagging good job offers by reputed firms like IBM, Infosys, TCL etc but also setting an example for others too.
In an off-campus placement drive underway at UGI, as many as 16 students of the institution have been selected by an Irish-domiciled multinational company Accenture at a package of 4.5 to 6.5 lakhs per annum.
Expressing happiness over the selection of students, head, corporate relation, UGI, Prayagraj Divya Bartaria said, “This was indeed a matter pride as well as satisfaction that the UGI students were bagging good job offers and that too on lucrative packages by the international firms at a time when millions have lost their jobs due Covid-19 pandemic”.

This has become possible only by the quality of education which the institution was providing to its students according to the need and requirements of firms of national and international repute, she added.
Of the total 16 students, 10 students were selected from United College of Engineering and Research (UCER), four from United Institute of Technology (UIT) and two from United College of Engineering and Management (UCEM), informs newly appointed public relation officer (PRO) of UGI, Rajesh Srivastava.
All the 10 students of UCER were selected for the post of Associate Software Engineer, he adds.
These 16 students include Risha Mishra, Pragya Singh, Shivani Singh, Vaishnavi Srivastava, Yamini Krishna, Priya Kesarwani, Naureen Haider Jafri, Sriyanka Singh, Shivank Gupta and Shambhavi Rai are all from UCER.
Likewise, Ekta, Muskan Singh, Shalini Srivastava and Saurabh Tiwari are from UIT while Suryakant and Neha Somani are from UCEM.
