Coimbatore: Detention detainees were found depending on the Ceimbatore central prison on Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as B Sakthel, 38, from Thiruvalluvar Nagar in Vellakovil in the Tirupur district.
He was arrested for killing Eswari, 55, from Jalan Mulanur in Vellakovil, and tried to kill his husband Arumugam, 65, on December 30, 2020, to steal the six-sovereign gold chain and 10,000.
Police Vellakovil registered the Sakthivel case under section 394, 302 and 307 of the Indian criminal code and arrested him in January 2021.
He was put forward in the middle prison of the body sent to Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital for Postmortem and then left to the Sakthivel family.
