Detention died in CMCH

Coimbatore: Disposal detainees, who are suspected of developing health complications, died without responding to treatment at Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Sekar, 57, from Elk Hill Road in Udhagamandalam.Police said Sekhar was accused of in connection with the murder of a woman in the Nilgiris district last month.
Sekar was arrested by the police and he was submitted in a sub-prison gudalur.
Then, he shifted to the central prison coimbatore where he developed health complications on Sunday around 10 in the morning.
Prison authorities said that he was a diabetic.
The police competition course registered a case and further investigation.
Postmortem will be done on Monday.
