New Delhi: The Indian Air Force flight (IAF) brought 24 Indians and 11 Nepalese refugees from Kabul were on our way to Delhi under the operation of Devi Shakti.
The Ministry of Justering Ministry spokesman Arinindam Bagchi told this on Twitter.
The evacuation operation from Afghanistan came after the Taliban takeover from the country last week.
Previously, MEA had urged all Indian citizens in Afghanistan who need help immediately contact Afghan cells specifically to get out of a torn country war.
Until now, around 626 people from Kabul have been evacuated which includes Indian citizens and Afghan citizens including Sikh and Hindu Afghanistan.
Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Tuesday informing that a total of 626 people including 228 Indians had been evacuated from Afghanistan until now.
He also told them, 77 was Sikh Afghanistan.
Afghan’s situation worsened when people rushed to leave the nation after the Taliban won control last week.
On August 15, the country government was down as soon as President Ashraf Ghani left the nation.
