Thiruvananthapuram: spent the shadow of doubts about the reputation of the city police anti-narcotics operation, the report emerged that police authorities suspected that DSAF members (Anti-Narcotics Regency Special Action Condition) here may have formed a nexotic with mafia narcotics members.
The accusation was withdrawn by the State Police Chief on Wednesday.
DGP Anil Kant also tells the media that the department will actually take steps to strengthen the Dansaf team.
It was reported that the intelligence wings noticed some differences in some of the main marijuana catches recorded in the city and investigations in these cases caused downsizing the Dansaf team in the city.
Intelligence officials noticed that although large amounts of marijuana were confiscated in these cases, there was no trace of vehicles used to smuggle contraband goods to the state.
They suspected that the absence of vehicles in these cases might be caused by the possibility that the Dansaf Team could act in collusion with Mafia members to plant marijuana in the city and then fake the target.
However, the DGP Anil Kant said that there were no such reports proposed by Wing Intelligence.
Meanwhile, the sources in the police department revealed that the higher the department thought the intention of members of the Dansaf and had taken such actions.
“Researchers often put a trap to catch a larger culprit like wholesalers using a small time pedja who was caught.
For such operations, the police often maintain close contact with a smaller link than a racket,” said a police officer who is a former member of the anti-operations Narcotics.
He added that such operations had helped them capture a large number of marijuana which should be sold among young people here.
A senior police officer said the downsizing occurred for three months ago.
The team was expanded before the assembly election under the instruction of the Election Commission by mobilizing the police from other wings.
The team was dissolved after the election results were announced, he said.
