Patna: The State Police Special Vigilan (SVU) unit on Tuesday which is favored by assets worth at least from RS2 Crore is disproportionate with sources of income for Child Development Protection (CDPO) Jyoti Kumari.
Sleuth Svu, armed with a search warrant issued by the court, invaded Flat Jyoti housing in Everest apartment at RPS Mor in Rupaspur, Patna, and restored four plots in Patna and neighboring areas, including those where RAID was carried out, RS5.5 Lakh in cash, jewelry is worth around RS5 Lakh, besides a two-car paper with an estimated RS14 Lakh value, details about two bank lockers in Bhagalpur, insurance and other investments.
CDPO, which was posted on Dhanarua in Patna District, has gathered this property in ten years of service period, SVU source said.
Raid Svu was carried out after registering the DA case against it on November 22.
On the FIR stage, the DA was calculated around RS51.36 lakh, but after the attack, the sources said.
They say DA from RS2 Crore is a conservative estimate and will increase because the market price property is much higher than the deed value based on which calculations have been carried out.
More moving properties are expected to appear, they said.
Source Svu said the value of four land actions in Patna and neighboring areas was around RS1 Crore.
“Their actual market value is much higher,” Sovu’s senior officer involved in the attack.
He said the value of the flat rupaspur according to the deed was RS70 Lakh.
“The market value is at least double the price shown in the paper.
In addition, massive expenses of the rupee of several lakh have been made in flats to complete and decorate it,” the officer said.
Another source said the CDPO had another flat in Bhagalpur, whose value was shown as RS25 Lakh.
“Flat Bhagalpur has not been disclosed in the annual return and asset details submitted to the state government.
This flat is also at higher prices than the deed value,” he said.
When contacted, Svu Adg Nayyar Hasnain Khan told TII that the Bank’s authority in Bhagalpur was directed to close the locker to be opened after the court permit.
Khan said more details of assets can appear after opening the locker.
He said further investigation in this case.
“Raid has been concluded.
Da Kasing was registered after receiving several complaints against him,” he said.
Source said SVU had searched for details of all CDPO Bank accounts from the Bank’s authority to find out the amount stored in it.
