New Delhi: The Supreme Court has taken awareness of Suo Motu about the case of the death of a district judge Dhanbad, who died after the autorickshaw hit him on Wednesday morning.
The court has searched for an investigative status report into this issue from the Jharkhand government, through the Head of Secretary and DGP, within a week.
The Apex Court said that the Secretary of the Head of State and DGP also had to provide details of the legal and order situation inside and outside the court at Jharkhand.
The Jharkhand government was also asked to notify the top trial of “incident properties” and steps taken by the state to protect law and order inside and outside the courthouse.
A bench SC CJI NV Ramana and Judge Surya Kant said that he had found several examples of attacks on officers and lawyers inside and outside the court where they want to overcome the greater trial and security issues in the country.

Added that it was the task of countries to protect the judicial officers and lawyers to make them function independently and without fear while trying hard to give justice.
The court added that on the next hearing date, it would consider issuing notifications to all countries.

The incident occurred near the Colony Magistrate of Dhanbad area, close to the residence of the judge, on Wednesday morning.
He was taken to the hospital by the locals, where he gave up on injury.
