Dharwad, who has emerged as a hub from the 24×7 library, now attracts students.
There are 100 libraries that run 24×7 for the benefit of students in the district.
There are nearly 20 to 25 libraries like that within a 2 km radius of Saptapur and Basilagar in Dharwad.
Dharwad is also known as Vidakakashi in the North Carnataka region, where many students from the district retreat, including Ballari, Raichur, Bagalkot and Vijayapura, because many coaching centers offer various types of courses, and train to prepare candidates to deal with IAS, cash, psi, and Other competitive exams.
To facilitate students, many people now start the 24×7 library concept, to allow candidates, who are preparing to do competitive exams, to learn hours, during the day and at night.
According to the source of the library association, there are 100 libraries in the Dharwad district.

About 20,000-30,000 students are registered in the library.
Each 24×4 library has separate parts of boys and girls, wifi, drinking water, English and newspapers and magazines, and books to be prepared for competitive exams.
In each library, a minimum of 100-2 students have registered their names to take advantage of this facility.

The 24×7 Library of the Association of President Dharwad Ravindra Kamaladinni told TI that this concept was first started in Delhi, and now has come to Dharwad.
