Dubai: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni may have not played cricket in the past but the former Indian captain is ready to feature extraordinary strokes in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 20.
The second half of the IPL is all arranged for Continuing on Sundays with Mumbai Indians and CSK locked horns with each other.

CSK on Saturday shared a Dhoni video that brought a bowler to the cleaners in the exercise game.

Before the season was suspended earlier this year due to Covid-19 pandemic, IPL proved unlike the others because three teams stormed ahead in the race to reach the playoffs – Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
All three of these teams but certainly reached the playoffs after strengthening the first three points in table points.
Rishabh Pant-LED DC has 12 points from 8 matches and the team needs to win two more matches to strengthen the playoff place.
CSK and RCB each have 10 points from seven matches and they need to win three more than seven matches remaining to reach the playoff stage.
If there is no surprise, it is safe to say that the battle will be among the five teams to close the fourth point in table points.
At present, Defending Champion Mumbai Indian holds fourth place with eight points while Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings are sixth in six points.
Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad are in seventh and eighth place each with four and two points and both of these teams face uphill tasks to reach the playoff stage.
