Dhoni will not charge anything to become a team mentor: Ganguly

New Delhi: Former Mahendra captain Singh Dhoni will not charge for the Mentoring of the Indian Cricket Team during the T20 World Cup this month in UAE and Oman, President BCCI Souruly told PTI on Tuesday.
The former iconic captain was taken as a mentor by BCCI last month when announcing a squad for the Mega event, scheduled to start October 17.
“Dhoni will not wear something for the Indian team mentor,” said Ganguly.
The 40-year-old Dhoni retired from last year’s international cricket, his last Indian match became the 2019 World Cup semifinal, which lost to the new team.
It is believed that Dhoni was brought for his experience in designing a almost perfect white ball strategy.
He led his Chennai Super Kings fraud to the final of the IPL on Sunday.
One of the most successful captains in the history of Indian cricket, luggalizing dough in India into two world titles – T20 2007 World Cup in South Africa and the 2011 ODI World Cup in India.
