Diabetes, BP Height Causes Stroke: Governor of T’Gana

Hyderabad: The main reason that underlies paralysis is the predisposition of chronic diseases such as diabetes, BP and high obesity leading to an increased risk of stroke, said Governor Telangana Soundararajan at the City Hospital on Friday.
“The current survey has shown that one in four of the 25 people over the age of 25 years around the world will experience a stroke at least at a time of their lifetime,” said the Governor at Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad when launching Neuro facilities.
“Most people are more likely to experience a stroke after being 50 years old.
Therefore it is recommended to get an ordinary medical examination as he increases,” he added.
Elsewhere, free stroke training sessions for ambulance drivers, paramedic staff and technicians are held on how to deal with stroke patients and pre-hospital treatments that they can provide to patients in hospitals.
