LONDON: Tony Hall, who had been manager of BBC news and current affairs in the right time of their public broadcaster’s volatile 1995 meeting with Princess Diana, according to Saturday as board chairman of Britain’s National Gallery.
Hall, who afterwards climbed to the best job in the BBC, was reprinted in a report this week to get a botched query into the journalist Martin Bashir acquired the blockbuster interview.
