New York: Community leaders of the American-American Diaspora meet members of James McGovern congress and discuss the issue of a surge in cruelty and attacks targeting Hindus in various parts of the world, including Pakistan and Bangladesh.
McGovern, which is the Chair of the Home Rules Committee, Chair of the Congress Executive Commission in China and the Democratic Course of the Bipartisan Commission, Tom Lantos, voiced concern for human rights violations in various parts of the world.
Hindu SwayAmsevak Sangh USA, World Hindu Council, International Rental, ISKCON Foundation, 75at75, Kashmiri Hindu Foundation, Global Baps Baps, Global Indians for Bharat Vikas, Saheli Boston and many other organizations discuss issues with McGovern in Boston in the weekend, according to a weekend Statement issued here.
During the meeting with the Democratic Party, Sanjay Kaul, vice president, the Hindu Council in America, presented the breakdown of atrocities against Hinduism and other minority communities in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh and in Kashmir, he said.
Kaul also highlighted the details of the recent attack on Kashmir and Hindu migrants in the Kashmir Valley.
Vanmali Pandit Dasa from Iskcon highlighted the recent attack on Hindu and Hindu priests in Bangladesh.
Pramit Maakoday from Global Indians for Bharat Vikas (GIBV) is shared with the detailed participants ‘Center for Boston’s advantage for human health and development’ and ’75AT75 initiative’ which both focus on large-scale programs by the Indian-American community for local American communities.
“75 in 75 initiatives”, part of the Independence celebration of the 75th India, including training of American Army veterans for yoga, attention, and respiratory techniques to relieve the suffering of PTSD and stress related problems, other statements.
Other programs provide quality education and coaching for 75 hours for American students in the Batang area (Science, technology, techniques, and mathematics) which focuses on computer programming.
Vikas Deshpande provides details about large-scale service-oriented projects and other work done during Covid-19 Pandemics to help those in need.
On that occasion, community leaders presented Bhagavad Gita to McGovern.
