Chennai: accused the bias and arbitrariness of the justice of the Arumughaswamy committee investigating the situation about the deaths of former Main Minister Jayalalithaa, Chennai-based Apollo Hospital said it would not be able to appear in front of the commission for investigation.
The Supreme Court has occurred in April 2019, after the commission process, after the Apollo Hospital took this case to the APEX court which said the Commission was not in a position to understand its submission because it did not have a doctor or medical procedure and the familiar protocol.
Although many political leaders, including the former Minister of Paneererselvam, had not yet appeared before the investigation commission, the doctors who treated Jayalalitha were made to appear before repeatedly, the hospital said.
The selective leak of the testimony given by the doctor produced the image of the hospital was tarnished in the public eye, said Apollo, added that the commission deviated outside his reference framework.
Noting that it is ready to have a party in every court process, Apollo said it did not have confidence to the Commission.
The hospital also said that the AIADMK government then directed the hospital to remove CCTV on the floor where Jayalalitha was being treated, said it was a matter of privacy.
After 75 days of stay at Apollo, Jayalalithaa died on December 5, 2016.
Justice Arumughaswamy Commission was founded in September 2017.
