Kolkata: Head of West Bengal thought Mamata Banerjee had written to PM Narendra Modi who opposed the amendment proposed to rule 6 rules of IAS (cadre), in 1954, which would enable the center to post central officers working in the state for central deputation.
The proposed amendment asks for countries to nominate a number of IAS officers who have been decided to reserve central deputation and enable the center to post this officer, even override the country’s objections.
