Leeds: Leeds United finally had to celebrate their first victory in their Premier League when Diego Llorente’s first goal made them a 1-0 win over Watford at Elland Road on Saturday.
Spanish defender Llorente was the fastest to react to loose balls in the box after the Leeds corner in the 18th minute and associated him past Ben Foster from close range.
Watford did not have the intensity and failed to test their host, even though they thought they had an equalizer that was impossible when the Leeds Ilan Meslier guard groped the corner and the ball ended in the net.
But the goal is not permitted due to violations.
Foster lucky to escape with an error when Tyler Roberts tried to be cleaned from the line.
Leeds should be won by a wider margin when Mateusz Klich became close and Stuart Dallas fired a nice wide opportunity, while Daniel James had a strong penalty for power rejected.
With Raphinha again playing Leeds, Marcelo Bielsa moved to 16th place with six points, with Watford One Point better after seven matches.
