Letter: Police arrested three gang members involved in diesel theft because of alleged their involvement in the kidnapping of Jawan’s housekeeper.
The defendant kidnapped Jawan while running away from the Ichhapore area and then dropped him near Sachin.
Police arrested Aamin Khan, 34, Mustufa Khan, 24 and Riyaz Khan, 25, while the defendant was looking for a target in the Ichhapore area on Wednesday.
Two other associates, Islam Shah and Virendra Singh, have not been arrested.
The police confiscated a truck worth Rs 6 lakh that the defendant was used in stealing diesel from other trucks.
Mohit Yadav, 23, a Jawan’s house keeper, served near the Ichhapore bridge on June 20 when he and another police indicated allegations to stop their trucks.
But they fled.
Yadav chased the truck on his motorcycle and stopped him near the village of Kawas.
After a fight accused withdrawing Yadav in the truck and going to Sachin.
They dropped it near Hojiwala Industrial and escaped from Breaking the Barricade at Bhatiia Toll Plaza.
“The police continued to oversee the movements of the defendants and their vehicles.
We have circulated photographs accused at the highway restaurant and toll plaza, based on what we received information that the defendant had come to the Ichhapore area again.
We finally arrested them,” said a police officer , The defendant would steal a diesel from a truck parked near the restaurant at night on the national highway between Vapi and Ankleshwar, police said.
