Nagpur: The virtual district convention in Rotary International District 3030 has been held lately.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has been the first guest while authorized luminary Harish Salve has been the keynote speaker.
The event began with the opening comments from convention seat Atul Shah.
District Governor Shabbir Shakir recognized the delegates and appreciated the efforts put by Rotary staff to arrange the digital seminar below these uncertainties.Birla in his address stated that organisations such as infantry did return to work shoulder to shoulder with all the government.The’Lifetime Achievement Award for Vocational Excellence’ has been given to senior adviser of India Harish Salve.
While expressing gratitude for the award, Salve explained,”Now, there is an imbalance that has slipped in to our democracy.
There is a danger to freedom of judiciary that’s a huge challenge and we must handle very attentively.” The award has been handed on to Aruna Upadhyay, sister of Salve.Past president Dr Sanjiv Chugh introduced Salve and district secretary Tauby Bhagwagar read the citation.
Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Awardee Deepa Malik talked on’Hard the Gods’.
Throughout the course of this day, charters were introduced to the brand new clubs of the district.
They’re Rotary Club Nashik Janasthan, Rotary Club of both Jalgaon Elite, Rotary Club of both Jalgaon Royals and Rotary Club of Milkcity Sangamon Chalisgaon.

The Super Star Contest was organized by Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision.
The winners had been Chayanika Sen and Shrikant Mankar of Amravati Midtown at duet categry while at female solo group Ashwini Sardeshmukh Joshi of Nasik Road took the top trophy along with also the man solo award went into Ajay Baheti of Sinnar.Day two of those virtual link started with DG Shabbir Shakir’s opening comments.
