New Delhi: Education Minister Union Dharmendra Pradhan said that digital initiatives taken in education during a pandemic to reduce academic losses will be further strengthened and institutionalized on Tuesday.
The minister said this after reviewing digital initiatives taken by the ministry including PM e-Vidya and the national digital education architecture (N-Dear).
“New age education will utilize technology to be open, inclusive, and accessible.
Pandemic Covid-19 requires a shift towards digital education media.
Digital initiatives taken during this time will be further strengthened and institutionalized.

“Dynamic digital ecosystems in education will expand learning opportunities for students, spur innovation and entrepreneurship in the education sector,” Minister after the meeting.
The meeting was also attended by three state ministers (MOS) for education – Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Sarkar Subhas, and Annapurna Devi, along with senior officials of the Ministry and other autonomous agencies such as CBSE and NCERT.
