Thiruvananthapuram: Establish the main milestone on the path to the transformation of the Economic Economy Kerala, university of digital science, innovation and technology, 2021 has come into force.
Governor Arif Mohammad Khan signed a bill who unanimously was approved by the Kerala legislative Assembly last month, a university statement said here.

This law is intended to build and combine research and teaching universities that are not affiliated in Kerala to facilitate and promote studies, research, incubation and extension of knowledge in digital technology and its application domains.
The transformation of the Institute of Information Technology India and Management-Kerala (IIITIM-K) to the University of Digital Kerala has been carried out with the introduction of the law, he said.

The address of the governor on January 22, 2018, first announced the government’s plan to increase IIITIM-K as a research center and education that prominently in the latest field of technology.
It was also announced in budget speeches in February 2018.
After this, university of digital science apes, innovation and technology ordinances were published in January 2020.
To overcome the increasing demand for skilled candidates for the fourth industrial revolution, the state government has been officially inaugurated on the technocity campus in February this year.
With a strong innovation cluster, the latest facilities and well-known faculties, the University of Digital Kerala has started acceptance to its master’s program in advanced technology such as artificial intelligence, engine learning, cyber security, he said.
Duk has a MTECH course approved by AICTE and MSC programs and PhD programs approved by UGC.
Courses are carried out under five schools – School of Computer Science and Engineering, Electronic System and Automation, Informatics, Digital Sciences and Digital Humanities and Liberal Arts.
It has various innovation centers and the centers of excellence such as Maker Village, Kerala Blockchain Academy, the center of excellence in smart iot sensors, thingqbator etc.
Duk courses are designed to give students the opportunity to understand and identify real-world problems and find solutions through innovation, the statement is added.
The Campus of Duk in Technocity is equipped with state and housing laboratories for students.
