Mumbai: Thespian Dilip Kumar died at a Mumbai hospital on Wednesday after a prolonged disease.
Kumar died at Hinduja Hindu who was based in Khar at 7:30 in the morning before his wife Saira Banu, took care of a doctor and cardiologist Dr.
Nitin Gokhale and several actor servants.
The source said that the actor had died of catching cardiorespiration.
He was hospitalized on June 29 with complaints of shortness of breath.
For almost a month ago when he was treated at the same hospital, the doctor had done a small procedure to remove the liquid from his lungs.
The doctor plans to do some small procedures this time but are waiting for his blood pressure to stabilize.
Pulmonologist Dr.
Jalil Parkar, who had treated it for two decades, said that breath was a related complication of age.
“He is 98 years old and everything can be done to help him.
We plan to continue some procedures, but the BP fluctuates,” said Parkar.
He said the doctor’s team was present for Kumar, including Dr.
Gokhale, a surgeon from Jaydeep Palep, Urology Dr.
Anita Patil and Intensivists from Khar Hospital.
Hinduja Khar Hospital has not made a statement about Kumar who died.
