Dilip Kumar has not been meeting anyone since the Covid-19 outbreak.
Saira Banu had earlier said that his immunity was low and therefore he was avoiding contact with outsiders.
The couple was thrilled when the news of the actor’s ancestral home being turned into a museum was announced by Pakistan government.
Saira Banu had said, “I am happy that it is being handed over to the archaeological department for a fitting museum.”
She had also added, “The countless admirers of Dilip Saheb will be able to visit the museum and enjoy the old world ambience of the lovely house where India’s first superstar lived in his formative years.”
The actor was admitted to the same hospital last month for a regular health check-up.
Kumar, who made his debut with ‘Jwar Bhata’ in 1944, has appeared in several iconic films in his career spanning over five decades, including ‘Kohinoor’, ‘Mughal-e-Azam’, ‘Devdas’, ‘Naya Daur’, ‘Ram Aur Shyam’, among others.
He was last seen on the big screen in ‘Qila’ in 1998.
