Vishesh Bhatt told Mukesh Bhatt, ‘Dad he Dino Morea and he is very popular’
It is 20 years Raaz and I want to give myself a small pat on the shoulder and say ‘Thank you!’, Because I really work hard to try and get that chance.
I remember almost everything clearly, even though everything happened 20 years ago.
Right since I got a movie.
I have gone to meet Mukesh Bhatt in the office and I remember Mahesh Bhatt Saab also sat there.
I was talking to Mukesh Ji and Bhatt Saab looked at me, I could see from the corner of my eyes that this person looked at me.
I said, ‘Look I want to be in a movie, I want to act’.
At that time, my two music videos came out, which had become very popular so they knew who I was.
Also the son of Mukeshji Vishesh knew who I was and he told his father, “Daddy Dino Morea and very popular.”
Mukeshji told me to go and meet Vikram Bhatt on the same day.
He edited in a studio in Khar, he met me and I remember he called Mukeshji and said, “Come on do this’ and that’s it, I signed for Raaz.

The scene when Bipasha walked into the forest also scared me
I have been grateful to Bhatt Saab, Mukeshji and Vikram for giving me a chance with Raaz.
We started photographing in Bombay and then moved to Ooty and Switzerland.
The experience was truly extraordinary and I fortunately it had Bhatt Saab on a set of watching everything and we also worked with fantastic actors.
My bipasha co-star is also extraordinary and then ashutosh shutter too.
I remember photographing a scary scene in Ooty.
The house we shot, located in the forest.
It looked amazing but when we shot there at night, even though we had a large lights, it was still very creepy.
When Bipasha walked out to the forest after he heard a voice, I remember the reaction of the audience from the cinema.
The audience exclaimed during playback, “Arrey, Mat Jaa! Kyun Jaa Rahi Hai?” I won’t do it and anyone in mind their rights will not walk into the forest, especially in such an area.
While creating a scene that we knew we created a crowd but when we saw a scene with the sound effect it became very scary.
I am afraid to watch it even though I know what I have done when shooting.

I am happy to be survived by Shah Rukh Khan
Great film music and we have the most amazing songs, which I heard even today.
From my point of view, everything came together for me with Raaz.
After the film was released, the experience was extraordinary for me.
I was very happy that my second film was a big hit.
That’s what gave me a strong footing in the industry and I said to myself, ‘Wow! Now the industry has accepted me.

Unforgettable memory came a few weeks after Raaz’s release.
Bipasha and I had dinner at a restaurant and Shah Rukh came for dinner at the same place.
He came and congratulated us.
I am very happy with the fact that he came and told us, “Your film is really fine.” This reason is very special for me that in the same year as the Devdas film has been released.
