Unfortunately, because of a pandemic, various universities in Tier-II and III cities cannot provide their students with the best opportunities in this matter, said Sahasrabudhe.
“Aicte recently launched a portal to empower students to apply and get the most suitable internship for them.
So far, this portal offers 11½ lakh summer and semester of internship opportunities.
We hope this will bring change to the final placement number,” he said .

“The last year has taught us about the uncertainty of life.
Students now have to be encouraged and taught in a way that helps them take a leap into an entrepreneur.

Data collected by Aicte showed that only 92,322 students in the management course had graduated with work in the hands of the management of Aicte approved management in 2020-21 compared to 119,546 students in the previous year.
