Panaji: Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant on Friday advised students who recently cleaned their class X exams to see beyond trade, art, science and vocational flow regularly and consider choosing various other skills-oriented courses available.
Sawant spoke to students in a career guide program about what to do after SSCE, was organized by CMO and the Directorate of Education.
He said that very few students chose to pursue a diploma course and available in itis not only for those who failed to clear the X Council exam.
Those who chose it also had a good future, he told students.
Said that this was the first time the state government had taken the initiative to guide students about various diploma courses available, the minister’s head also said that he had directed the Ministry of Education to conduct talent tests and career guidance sessions for students.
