Director of Kollywood to provide acting tips to prison

Coimbatore: To find and sharpen the acting skills of prisoners, the central prison authority in the city plans to do the prison theater immediately in a relationship with the film director ‘Pagaivanukku Arulvai’ Anis.
Anis, who has also directed Thirhumanam Ennum Nikkah, and his friend Vetri Duraisamy has launched a prison theater because of prisoners from the Puzhal Central Prison in Chennai in 2016.
“All prisoners have several skills.
Some of them are good at singing, while some others are actors who are Very good.
We have identified about 30 prisoners there and train them in acting.
When they came out after serving their punishment, they were given the opportunity to act in my film ‘Pagaivanuku Arulvai’.
They have songs sung as well in the film, which Will be released soon.
“Anis said the coimbatore center prison was open to doing a prison theater to identify acting skills among prisoners.
“After the release of my film, we plan to start the program for prisoners here.” G B Senthamarikannan, supervisor, central prison Coimbatore, said at this time a music force functions in prison.
“The members will attend a first-class keyboard and drum examination of Trinity College, London, in 2018, but it was not done for various reasons.
