BENGALURU: Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa on Saturday reported the disbursement of cash support under the Covid-19 relief bundle has started and a portal started to enroll the inheritance.
Yediyurappa was speaking to this Rs 1,750 crore relief package declared in 2 instalments to gain different parts of this society to conquer the financial hardship throughout the limitations to include Covid-19 pandemic, that will be in effect since April 27 and will be very likely to finish on June 14.
“Now we moved Rs 749.55 crore into the Karnataka Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
This may reward 25 lakh registered employees who’ll receive Rs 3,000,” the ministry told colleagues.
Based on Yediyurappa, Rs 110 crore was transferred into the accounts of 10 lakh people from 11 unique industries like unorganised workers, barbers, washermen, tailors, building labourers, ragpickers, knick-knack vendors and potters.
An internet portal was launched for its speedy registration of debtors.
Replying to a question, the CM stated wherever Covid-19 instances fall below five percent, we’ll look at giving concessions after talking with the officers from the close of the lockdown.
