Chandrapur: shows a great commitment to customer service, MSEDCL employees rowing electrical transformers through a flooded river to provide power supply to agricultural consumers.
Technical employees of the Ballarpur Sub-Division Office MSEDCL risk their lives to cross the river which flooded with heavy transformers on two ships tied together on August 13.
Official sources told that the power supply to two agricultural connections at the top of the village (gangapur) of Pombhurna Tehsil flinched after damage to the power transformer.
Two consumers – Shantabai Dayle and Teklu Kasture – recently cleaned the dusted power bill collectively by RS11.730 and has the right to the usual and unbroken power supply.
Patil Kunal Assistant Engineers took problems and arranged backup transformers for the village tok (gangapur).
However, the main obstacle is that there is no right way to take a transformer to its destination.
There is a dilapidated 30 km kuccha road from Pombhurna to Jungaon, the closest place for Tok (Gangapur) with an approachable path.
Thus it was decided to transport the heavy 25 KVA transformer on a wooden boat on the Vaingganga River which flowed in the decision.
Santosh Wadhai’s MSEDCL technician and one expression assumed the responsibility for rowing transformers on ships with the risk of their lives.
The duo contains a transformer on the ship and transports it with the help of the local boat to tok (gangapur), and replaces that does not work.
Officials claim that the restoration of the power supply saves the farmers by letting them get the water needed for rice plantations on their farm.
