Gurgaon: Moving that can benefit the industry, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has extended the neglect of additional costs to the delay in payment for the industrial sector.
Diskomes have also announced assistance at fixed costs paid by industrial units for power consumption.
This command is a continuation of the similar order released earlier this year.
A letter dated July 15 stated that while the due date for payment of electricity bills without additional payment costs more early to June 14, it has now been extended to the end.
The letter, then stated that “the state government has decided to provide a help package to electricity consumers to reduce losses faced by them during a pandemic.” People in the industry say that orders also provide assistance at fixed costs borne by them.
“Fixed costs for HT and LT provide consumers (industries and commercial containing up to 20 kW) will be eliminated if monthly consumption during the April-June is 50% or less than 50%,” said an official DHBVN.
This step emerged after the demands made by the industry and industry associations, seeking assistance in fixed charges during the locking period as an industrial owner facing severe financial losses.
Deepak Maini, an Industrial Industry and Industrial Federation member based in the city, said: “We welcome this step taken by the government to reduce the financial burden on the industry.
However, the decision would be more useful if needed a few months earlier when the industry saw Crunch Crunch Acute.
“The state government has also announced the Samadhan vivadhon scheme for the industry and offers 100% neglect with criminal interest.
Other industrial representatives say that rebates at the cost of power will not benefit them a lot because of 50% or less electricity consumption conditions.
