Hyderabad: Torso a man, whose head was cut off at the feet of idol in a temple in the Nalgonda district, found in a building abandoned nearby on Thursday, police said.
As part of an investigation, eight special teams were formed and during the Torso investigation found in the building in Turkayamjal, they said as a probe to dig the mystery behind the murder.
In the midst of suspicion that it could be a case of human sacrifice, the police said the detailed investigation of all angles continued and added that the violation did not occur in religious sites.
The man’s family identified him as a 30-year-old Jahender.
He suffered from mental illness and lived on the streets, they added.
