New Delhi: A team of central government officials in sustainable dialogue with foreign Covid vaccine manufacturing such as Pfizer, Modera and Johnson and Johnson to discuss and overcome various problems, including compensation, Lok Sabha was told on Friday.
Providing current discussion status with pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer and Moderna for giving them compensation costs for adverse effects because of vaccination, Union Minister Bharati Pravin Pawar in a written reply said the team on June 11 to deal with various problems related to the procurement of covid vaccines -19 from foreign producers.
“This team is in continuous dialogue with Pfizer, Modera and Johnson and Johnson to discuss and overcome various problems including compensation issues,” said the Minister of Health.
He clarified that no domestic producer of covid vaccine has demanded compensation for the adverse effects of vaccination.
