Mumbai: The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) said the special court mistakenly held that it did not show new reasons to extend the prisoners of the former Minister of State House Anil Deshmukh.
It was said by new reasons including confrontation “after the re-examination of the Sachin Dam was accused of” as well as confrontation with CA and his son Hrishikesh and Salil.
Madhav Jamdar justice from HC directs Dishmukh’s detention with Ed from November 7 to November 12.
Additional lawyers General Anil Singh and Advocate Shreeram Shirsat for Ed proposed that the judicial arrest command “in the midst of a custodian investigation”.
Singh said, Deshmukh through his lawyer accessed Ed’s request for the extension of his edge prisoners for a four-day custodian investigation.
His senior advice, Vikram Chaudhary, with Nikam’s anicack said that even though they had “a lot to say about the advantages of the case and on the maintenance of the Revised Application ED”, given the instructions of their clients (Dishmukh), the PMLA court order may be set aside with approval.
Ed had been on May 11, 2020 filed alleged money laundering cases against Deshmukh.
On November 2 when he appeared in front of him in response to the call, after HC rejected the petition to cancel them, he was arrested.
Holiday Judges Holiday PMLA Special on November 2 gave ED Deshmukh’s custody until November 6.
In the second detention, the holiday court rejected the extension of the agency and sent it to profitable custody, said the ed.
Before HC, the agency said that despite “strong demand” to extend Dishmukh prisoners, a special judge sent him to be detained in prison so that it denied it “adequate investigation opportunities, especially in cases such as those who have serious consequences and more when investigations are at an important stage”.
JUSTICE JAMDAR in the order of saying that after going through the PMLA court order and investigative letters, “Prima Facie is substance” in the impression submitted by ED and his anil singh’s counselor about the legality of the challenge.
