Cape Canaveral: Disney Cruise Line postponed his first test cruise since the pandemic brought the shipping industry to traffic jam after several participants had inconsistent test results for Covid-19, said the company said Monday.
Dream Disney has been scheduled to sail Tuesday from Port Canaveral, Florida, with 300 employees who have submitted themselves to “simulation” cruises.
But the trip was postponed until next month, awaiting approval, because a small number of employees had inconsistent results for Covid-19, “which is considered positive by the CDC,” Disney said in a statement.
Control centers and prevention of disease, or CDC, have approved the demand for line cruise to conduct a two-night test shipping.
The federal government began to allow cruises to sail again, but only if almost all passengers and crew were vaccinated against the virus.
Republic of Florida GOV.
Ron Desantis signed a bill that prohibits the business from needing evidence of vaccination, so that the shipping path must prove the effectiveness of their Covid-19 safety protocol on a cruise ship.
Last weekend, Edge celebrities departed Fort Lauderdale, Florida, became the first cruise to leave the US port in 15 months.
Cruise Saturday kicked a cruise ship line to a business with a carnival that was scheduled to depart from another port next month.
Celebrity Cruises, one of the Royal Caribbean Cruise brands, said 99% of passengers were vaccinated, well as long as the 95% requirements worn by the CDC.
