Disputed land is divided between 2 communities

Chatra: District administration has divided around 4.75 hectares of common land in Parsauni village in the iThoki block in Chatra into two parts and diverting one part to burial and the other for cricket soil.
The move followed the clash between two communities on January 15 when a person claimed that the land was for Kabristan, while others accused the former ‘playground’.
“We have now ended the area so that no one can lift it a kind of objection or claim the land further or create controversy or disputes.
Even if the ball goes to the Kabristan area while playing on the ground here, no one will arouse objections.
Both parties Unanimously agreed to work together during their festival too, “said an official.
The administration has pressed the JCB engine on Wednesday to limit the limit for two facilities.
The 12 member committee consisting of six people from each community has been formed to maintain peace.
