New Delhi: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday hit Congress and other opposition parties, by saying “disturbing” parliament has emerged as a new “toolkit” for them to prevent themselves from “exposed”.
He also accused them of Sullying “the chastity of the temple of our democracy” and also tried to host him.
Pradhan attacked the Congress the day after opposition parliamentarians including those from the party jostling with Marshal in the Well of Rajya Sabha while trying to move towards seats and treasury benches.
In a series of tweets, said Pradhan, “disturbing parliament has emerged as a new toolkit for Congress and opposition parties to prevent themselves exposed to the lies that they decide on public problems.” Demanding that Congress apologized to the nation for “irresponsible politics” like that, Pradhan said there might be dissent but parliament could not be held hostage by anyone.
“By not allowing the parliament to run peacefully along the #Monsoonsession, the opposition led by the Congress has tarnished the sanctity of our democratic temple and also tried to beat him,” he said.
The mention of “Toolkit” is a clear reference for alleged documents, called “Toolkit” Congress by BJP, preparing to corner the mod to handling the Coronavirus crisis.
Congress has denied any relationship with the alleged “toolkit”.
Seven Union ministers included Pradhan also discussed a press conference to prioritize the government case and signal the opposition allegations about the commotion at Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.
Pradhan then also met former HD Prime Minister Deve Gowda in Delhi.
“Called to the former Indian Prime Minister Shri @H_D_Devegowda Ji.
A senior politician, a statesman and someone who has devoted his life for the welfare of the people, especially farmers, there is always so much to learn from him,” he tweeted.
