‘DISS must all follow the Covid Care Protocol’

Ranchi / Sindri: After two children tested positive Covid-19 in Dhanbad and four cases of multisist system inflammatory syndrome in children (eg – c), related to Covid-19, reported from Jamshedpur, the integrated disease of the Surveillance program (IDSP) has been suggest the district units to follow the guidelines issued on the treatment of children infected with Covid to the handle.
Speaking with TI on Saturday, State Supervision Officer Dr.
Rakesh Dayal said, “We monitor the situation every day and there is nothing to worry about.
However, we have suggested all of our district supervision officers to ensure that monitoring and test protocols are followed according to the guidelines and if needed, fresh guidelines will be issued.
“Asked about their preparation, he said,” We have completed online and offline training from doctors, nursing staff, and other health workers about Covid management for children.
In addition, Picus and Nicus are ready at Most districts and even if cases increase, we will be able to treat patients in a subtle way.
“On Friday, a three-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl was tested positive at Dhanbad, after they were treated at Sahid Nirmal Mahato Medical College and Hospital (Snmmch).
The two children are said to be stable and treated in the PG SNMMCH block.
“Both of them do not show symptoms.
We treat them according to the protocol,” Dr.
D P Bhushan, who is responsible for the PG Snmmch block, said.
District administration, meanwhile, has begun to trace contacts in the Rajanj area, where the girl came from.
“We have directed the regional medical officers concerned to start a search for contacts and medical teams, along with IDSP officials, will do it,” said Dhanbad HR Surendra Prasad.
The boy, on the other hand, arrived with his family in Dhanbad from Telangana.
According to the norms, the family was asked to live in quarantine for seven days after that they had to undergo testing.
When their report returned on Friday, both father, who was CISF Jawan, and his son was tested positive while the mother was negative.
The Father has been treated in a separate ward at Snmmch.
In Jamshedpur, the four children were found infected with Mis-C earlier this week when they were accepted at ESIC Hospital in the Adityapur area in the District of Seraikana-Kharsawan.
“The four are stable now and two are up,” supervisor of the Esik Hospital, said Dr.
M M Minz.
Meanwhile, an official official of the Ministry of Health spread fears that children who tested positive Covid would be severely infected because they had not been vaccinated.
Speaking with anonymous requirements, the official said, “Some sero-survey findings from various parts of the country have indicated that most children have not been vaccinated but have developed antibodies.
This has occurred because of their contact with family members infected in the past.
This is a good sign because it will help reduce the severity of infection among children.
