DISS to follow the Ajmer Hompon plan for non-covid patients

Jaipur: Non-covid patients must suffer a lot in the state during the first and second waves of pandemic.
To prevent recurring situations in the third wave case, Ajmer health officials have hit a plan and hospital designated for non-covid treatment such as cancer; Kidney chronic disease, heart, heart, lungs; and neurological disorders.
The Ministry of Health has issued direction to all districts to take AJMER action plans as a model and ensure that non-covid patients are not ignored if the third wave attacks.
Ajmer’s plan focuses on appointing a hospital to provide dialysis, treatment for cardiological and neurological problems, and general OPD; Satellite hospital for cancer; and Zanana Hospital for maternal care.
In addition, 16 government pharmacies will provide treatment for general patients.
In rural areas, Ajmer has identified public health centers and primary health to only provide non-covid treatments.
“We have issued direction to all districts to ensure the right treatment for non-Covid patients even if we have the third wave.
Ajmer has prepared a detailed plan for Covid and non-Covid care facilities.
We have issued direction to other districts to follow the Ajmer’s plan, “Siddharth Mahajan said, Secretary of Health.
Research has shown that diseases in non-covid patients deteriorated during a pandemic because of fear of viruses, locking, and unavailability of facilities at the hospital.
Many hospitals have confirmed that patients in the final stage of their disease have come to them after the second wave slowed down.
“Most hospitals provide covid care.
So, non-covid patients are hesitant to go to the hospital.
Now, we try to create an environment to treat non-covid patients.
We have appointed hospitals for them,” said Dr.
Kk Soni , Chief Medical Health Officer (CMHO), Ajmer.
A number of kidneys, cancer and other patients with chronic diseases die during the first and second covid waves.
“Kidney patients suffer a lot of problems to carry out dialysis.
Because these patients and other people with chronic diseases at a higher risk of experiencing severe Covid infections, they are afraid Go to the hospital, “said Mujahid Naqvi, Director, Kidney Warrior Foundation, who gave the support of the patient.
