DISS to remain vigilant until New Year’s Eve to prevent a surge in COV cases

Ranchi: With the celebration season in full swing, the Ministry of Health has asked all 24 districts to remain vigilant until New Year’s Eve to prevent a surge in Covid-19 cases.
On Tuesday, Arun Kumar Singh’s additional principal issued a letter to all representatives of the commissioners, directed them to monitor personally and gave birth to officials from their team to maintain citizenship.
Talking to Toi, Singh said: “With a decrease in Covid-19 cases in Jharkhand, it is possible that the right behavior of Covid may not be obeyed by worshipers during the celebration season.
So I have directed all DC to implement strict guidelines.” The health department letter comes After a letter issued by the Union of the Ministry of Health and family welfare to all States and the Union on September 21 where the ministry was called the next 100 days as critical in the war against Coronavirus.
According to the letter, the United States has been asked to place restrictions in the area with a 10% or more participant in the last seven days and with 60% occupancy in hospitals, either it is supported by oxygen or in an intensive care unit.
The state has been directed to enforce at least 14 days restrictions in any district that crosses the threshold during the celebration season.
According to the SINGH letter, DC has been asked to strengthen testing, monitor migrant movements in their respective districts and to increase the vigil at all entry points and exit.
The letter also directed DC to keep a tight mass show during the ongoing Puja Durga Festival.
The letter has also directed district officials to install thermal and CCTV scanners in places that tend to be crowded during puja.
District-District has also been asked to spread volunteers to ensure that Covid control measures are followed by the handle.
State epidemiology Dr.
Praveen Karang said, “Our protocol for celebration season is synchronized with instructions received from the Ministry of Health Union.
