PATNA/NEW DELHI: The divided at Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) was open Thursday when a faction headed by Pashupati Kumar Paras officially elected him (Paras) because the president of this party in its national executive committee meeting held , another headed by Chirag Paswan described the election as”unconstitutional” and maintained a physical assembly of its executive will be held at the federal capital on Sunday to reiterate Chirag’s former election because the party’s president.
Paras, the younger brother of former Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan, has been previously notified since the party leader of LJP at Lok Sabha.
Former LJP MP Surajbhan Singh stated Paras was elected national president of their celebration unopposed as no additional nomination was registered against him.
“Entirely 71 members expanded their service to Paras in the assembly,” he explained.
But, just four of those five rebel MPs were present in the assembly held in the home of Surajbhan here.
Samastipur MP and Chirag’s cousin Prince Raj was conspicuous by his absence at the meeting.
Chirag stated in New Delhi the assembly organized in Patna was”unconstitutional” and lacked minimum presence of its federal executive members.
He told PTI his party has also written to the Election Commission, urging it to halt the Paras-headed faction out of utilizing its flag and symbol in its own assembly.
LJP’s secretary general Abdul Khaliq reported a physical assembly of its federal executive could be held at the federal capital on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Paras stated in Patna that the celebration would leave no rock unturned to match the dreams of its creator overdue Ram Vilas Paswan.
He, however, explained Chirag as”autocrat” who dismisses the employees of the celebration.
“Bhatija agar tanashah ho jayega into chacha kya karega? Yahan prajatantra hai, koi aajivan adhyaksh nahi rah sakta hai (If nephew turns autocrat, what alternative is a must have? In a democratic setup, nobody could continue to function as president at a celebration because of his life ),” he told the mediapersons.
Figuring his aims to strengthen the organization, Paras stated the party would concentrate on fighting to the cause of the weak and downtrodden.
“The LJP was made together with the motto to provide voice to the failed and offer them their due share in the democratic setup.
We’ll follow that ideology and also win the hearts of the bad,” he explained.
He belonged to the leaders and employees who had previously stopped LJP to go back to the party fold.
“I guarantee you that you’ll be given due regard and honor.
I apologize on behalf of this celebration,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Rajesh Bhatt, spokesperson of LJP (Chirag faction), stated the assembly of the federal executive committee has been convened by Paras set in breach of the ministry of this LJP.
“The assembly was undemocratic since Chirag is the federal president of this celebration.
The rebels could be suited with the time being distancing themselves from the bash, but the people of Bihar will not forgive them,” he explained.
