Dissolve the ward panel, Rwas wrote to Khattar

Gurgaon: Some Welfare Associations in the City (RWAS) in the city have been written to Manohar Lal Khattar and MCG Minister Mukesh Ahuja, asking the Environment Committee to be dissolved.
They accused most of the environmental committees having relatives and friends of the Board and Senior MCG officials as their members and did not have a representation of RWA.
The residents still protested against the committee for some time, but their decision to take their complaints to the door of the minister’s head following the resolution at the MCG home that all parks would now be managed by the Environment Committee.
The park is usually maintained by Rwa under the supervision of MCG.
But in sectors where RWA is involved in several disputes, environmental committees have been given interest.
Rwa members alleged that in areas where the committee proposed a project, residents there was no information about development work or every feedback was taken from them.
“Residents are faced with citizenship problems such as sanitation, overflowing waterways, bad roads and water.
When we buy plots, we pay for each service, such as parks, community centers, etc.
Then, why we are not involved in decision making and Project monitoring? “Asked Pramod Sharma, President of Urwa.
Mayor Madhu Azad denied the allegations.
“I don’t realize it.
However, every time the construction work is done, people’s suggestions and feedback are always included.
Whether it’s a member of the Board and Rwas, both play their role for the development of the city.
RWA’s representation in the committee of the ward is very much there,” he said.
Commissioner MCG Mukesh Ahuja said there was no decision taken at the meeting final.
