Prasagraj: At the time of pollution, alright through smoke emitted by factories, vehicles and burning stumps or in this case because of dust and noise, causing problems throughout the country, the city of Sangam has also registered a significant increase in pollution level.

Lohia Marg, Clive Road, Strachey Road, Cooper Road, Tashkent Marg, Tej Bahadur Sapru Marg, Kamala Nehru Road (1st), Shobhnath Singh Road, Katra Road-II, Mission Road, Hashimpur Road, Mumforganj Road, Pig Bindeshwari Road, Pannalal Road, Jalan Road, Sarojini Naidu Marg, Kamala Nehru Road -II and PD Tandon Marg.
DM has ordered the officials of all departments concerned to take the steps needed to bring this pollution under control.
To oversee these efforts to reduce air pollution and sound on city streets, environmental engineers ProAgraj Municipal Corporation (PMC) Uttam Kumar Verma has made Nodal officers.
“The DM has ordered a strict monitoring of air pollution and noise in the city and ordered that all necessary steps were taken to carry it in control.
However, 28 spots identified as the most affected would be prioritized in this matter,” Verma said.
As part of the strategy to reduce dust floating in the air, Jal Kal Department has been directed to carry out regular water sprinkling to reduce dust in the lower roads of the city construction while the responsibility of taking action against those who burn garbage or polythene under the open sky has been entrusted to PNN zone officer.
