Dist maintains a downward trend, recorded 486 cases

Coimbatore: The trend in decreasing the Covid-19 case continues with the new 486 logging district on Friday, taking the calculation to 2,20,493.
With 904 people out, the number of active cases reached 3,382.
The total number of recovered people grew to 2,15,053, took the recovery rate to 97.5%.
The district recorded seven deaths because the virus increased the number of victims to 2,058.
Seven victims included a 34-year-old man who tested positive on June 12 and was hospitalized on June 20 with fever complaints and breathing difficulties.
He died on Thursday because of Pneumonia Covid-19.
Meanwhile, the vaccination center continues to remain a flash point for political parties to get a distance from the drive.
On Friday, verbal clashes erupted between members of BJP and DMK districts in front of the vaccination center at the Coimbatore Clothing Traders Association, Girls Higher Secondary School at King Street.
An official with the Variety Hall police station, who had to calm the two parties, said this problem began with BJP members who set up a bending board in school while vaccination was underway.
“The Flex Agency thanked the New First Minister for implementing a vaccination program initiated by the BJP government.
BJP members claim that they have the right to claims because this is the scheme of the central government,” he said.
“However, members of the DMK accused them of trying to get political mileage and demanding that the flexion be removed,” he added.
About 25 people from each party have gathered and began to pamper themselves in verbal clashes.
“We calm members of the two parties.
School Authority filed a complaint against BJP members for establishing Flex without permission from them, companies or police,” he said.
Meanwhile, three other tribes from the reserve of Anamalai Tiger, in the Tirupur district, was tested positive for Covid-19.
The three tribes were a 55-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman from Mavadapu’s settlement and a 40-year-old woman from Kurumalai’s settlement.
The Ministry of Health officials actually tested 136 tribes in four settlements, after a 31-year-old woman from the settlement of the Kulipatti tribe was tested positive after the shipment.
“The three of them have been treated at Udumalpet GH.
We have also spoken with The Tribal Heads and instructs them to reach assistance if there are other people who suffer from symptoms,” said a health worker.
