Dist reports the highest daily surge in Covid’s case

Thiruvananthapuram: The district reports the highest number of single cases ever, the highest daily test (TPR) and weekly TPR highest on Monday.
The daily TPR on Monday is 44.22%.
A total of 5,863 people were confirmed with Covid-19 on Monday.
The previous daily positive case before (4,560) was recorded on May 8, 2021 during the second wave.
TPR in the government and private sectors and all types of testing; Both RT-PCR and antigens are recorded above 40% in the district on Monday.
In the government sector, TPR of all types is 53.1% while for the private sector, reaching 42.7%.
The RT-PCR front level in the government sector is 53.8%.
Positive antigens in the private sector and government are 44.9% and 44.5% respectively.
The government sector records the highest level of participation even though the number of daily tests is not near the numbers being carried out during the second wave in this district.
Since the last week of December, testing the numbers in the government sector passed 10,000 only four times included on Monday when 13,260 tests were carried out.
