BAREILLY: Using a bagful of invitation cards left and 5 times to go because of his daughter’s marriage Madanpal Singh was racing against the moment.
On Monday afternoon, while racing house to grab a fast meal, he observed a bunch swelling round a woman’s body.
Overcome by curiosity, he left his motorcycle and pushed his way through the assembly.
He fell to his kneesyelled,”It is my daughter” and dropped unconscious.
Only a couple hours before, in their house in Moradabad’s Surajnagar village, also an luminous Meenakshi Singh alias Teena (19)’d bidding goodbye to her dad while he was departing todistribute the cards.

Jitin had asked to postpone the union but it wasn’t possible because we had spread the cards booked the place also.” SP (rural) Vidyasagar Mishra told TOI,”We are attempting to identify whether anybody else has been involved with the murder.”
