The purpose of this scheme is to ensure that students have easy access to distance classes, get content for study and information related to work,” said a government spokesman.
Free tablets and smartphone schemes were announced by CM earlier this year and cleaned by the cabinet.
New applications will be used by the Institute of Education or Universities concerned to provide study material to students, along with information about work-related schemes and other youth welfare schemes.
