Ludhiana: On the direction of the Indian Election Election Commission (ECI), District Election Officer – Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma on Thursday checked the first level inspection (FLC) electronic voting machine (EVM) and voter verification paper) and voter audit trail (VVPat) At Punjab Agriculture University (PAU) which began today in the presence of political party representatives.

He holds detailed interactions with engineers Bharat Electric Limited (BEL), which has been assigned the task of preparing these machines.
Sharma said that the main motive for this inspection was to ensure that pollings were carried out freely, fairly and transparently.
Deputy Commissioner said that all of these machines will be used by administration during the assembly selection of 2022 and add that the process of checking 6,485 units of ballots, 4,339 control units and 4,664 VVPats will be used in a month.

He said that this exercise is the most important job to ensure subtle selection, disturbance and transparent.
Deputy Commissioner said that for this reason, ECI had decided to hold this exercise before.
He said that the right security setting along with CCTV / videography was confirmed during the FLC finished.
He said that the district government had asked political parties to send their representatives during this examination to ensure full transparency in all work.
Sharma further said that political parties must take part in this activity because it is very important to strengthen the ethos of democracy at the grassroots level.
Prominent among the others were present on the occasion including the selection of Tehsildar Anju Bala, Kamal’s political representatives from the Indian National Congress, Dev Raj from the CPI (M) Arun Kumar Sidhu and Sarbjeet Singh from NCP.
