Ghaziabad: Districts in all states, including Ghaziabad, have not uploaded the details of the procurement made for Covid-19 despite a command issued by the Ministry of Health Union in June this year.
According to the government’s orders, the details of the procurement for the amount above RS 3 Lakh need to be maintained and signed by vendors, contractors, suppliers and procurement agents concerned and signed by state nodal officers under the Nodal package.
Officials revealed that more than RS 5 Crore had been spent by Ghaziabad under the emergency package and strengthening the health system strengthening the health system issued by the NHM.

The maximum number of RS 1.1 Crore has been spent to employ temporary medical staff and provide incentives to public health workers, followed by Rs 44 lakh on diagnostics and sample transportation.

These details are then needed to be uploaded on the designated portal from the National Health Mission.
Officials said it was important to comply with world bank norms for replacement.
In addition, the procurement of the contract value above RS 18 Lakh must be cleaned by the World Bank to qualify for disbursement.
