Coimbatore: District recorded 235 fresh Covid-19 cases on Monday, taking counting to 2.31, 405.
District reported 241 cases on Sunday and 223 on Saturday.
One death was reported on Monday against three deaths on Sunday.
With 223 patients dumped on Monday, there were 2,228 active cases in treatments in various hospitals in this district.
So far, 2,26,983 people were dismissed after treatment in the district.
In the Tirupur district, the number of deaths from Covid-19 increased to five on Monday against four on Sundays.
A total of 77 new cases were reported on Monday, down from 80 on Sunday and 84 on Saturday.
A total of 852 active cases underwent treatment at the hospital after 82 people were dismissed in the district on Monday.
So far, 88,596 people have been infected with Covid-19, which is 86,875 discarded.
